| Introduction | I am pretty "normal" to the outside observer. I am a wife and mother. I am a very lucky SAHM (stay at home mom). By day, I fold the laundry and do the dishes and tidy up the house. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching quality television (like LOST and The Office), and playing the occasional video game. Lurking beneath this ordinary facade, however, lies a woman that might "freak out" those who know me in the real world. I am a natural-birth advocating, exclusively breastfeeding, safe co-sleeping, baby wearing mama. I support a womans right to choose her birth experience, the concept of 'attachment parenting,' and every childs right to genital wholeness. I believe that parenting is the most important job on Earth and that children are to be taught, nurtured, and loved. |
