| Introduction | Expressing creativity soothes my soul - even if it's painting bubbles on a bathroom wall. I had a long hiatus from genuine creativity (other than bathroom painting), but now I'm learning about and creating handmade books. I love natural items and enjoy working with handmade papers. I also like to recycle items and use them in my creations - old earrings, buttons off long discarded clothing, whimsical tags off new clothing, six pack carriers, etc. People are often mislead by my calm (I'm frenetic inside) and positive (some see this as a weakness) demeanor. Although I find good in most people and situations, I do see the "flaws" and embrace those as part of the whole. I view myself as a continual learner, never an expert. I think children are amazing (sometimes monstrous - aren't we all?) and their development is ceaselessly interesting to me. I learn much from my children (five of them - 8 to 28 yrs) and am inspired by them. I strive to live in gratitude (tough!) and in the moment (tougher!) and hope to bring a little love and kindness into every encounter with others. |

Flexibilty. I'm big enough.
