Introduction	Welcome! This is a blog about a girl, her family, her craft projects and all the good things in life that I am passionate about or find inspiration in. The name of my blog comes from two great people whom I miss very much. They taught me what I know about sewing and also lots about life; my mom Joan and my grandma Grace (who always called my mom Joanie).
Interests	Sewing and knitting - the latter not very well. I read quite a lot - both fiction and non-fiction.
Favorite Movies	Shawshank Redemption, Whale Rider, KingPin, and its not a movie but Luther from the BBC is the best show on TV right now.
Favorite Music	It varies but right now Mumford and Sons and Adele are in heavy rotation. Bedouin Soundclash, Dixie Chicks, Etta James are some standard fare.
Favorite Books	ANYTHING by John Steinbeck or Rohinton Mistry.
