| Introduction | Some call me 'Sam' because I'm a great golfer...and left-handed. Others know me as 'Mike' or 'Michael' because I chose those names from a hat when I was seven years old. That's how we did things when I was a kid. I remember the city the way it used to be back then; gleaming towers and mag-lev trains as far as the eye could see. We were fools; toying with forces we couldn't possibly understand. We dared to think ourselves gods. Then the inevitable happened; an army of hyper-intelligent apes marched down from the mountains and pelted us with their hyper-intelligent feces. That's when we knew the charade had come to an end. So we loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly...Hills, that is! |
