| Introduction | I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in English from The University of Texas. I've done work as a software developer, and currently work as a senior editor of The New Atlantis, a journal devoted to studying the ethical implications of current and emerging technologies. Some of my relevant work is listed below. Writing Software development: • ModFetch: A Modular System for Automating Queries to Relational Databases. Non-experimental, public open-source version still to come. • ClassPoint. A free online community for discussing, planning, and reviewing college courses. • Flash-based drive log analyzer for Read-Verify Appliance. Developed for Crossroads Systems (not accessible unless you purchase one of those units.) • The Austin Map Project. One of the earliest geotagging projects; no longer in active development. |
