Born and raised in the Northwest (Netarts, Tillamook, Portland, Salem, Newberg, Seattle) I'm a northwesterner through and through. Yes, I wear socks with my sandals, I have owned my share of flannel shirts, and I think 80 degrees is hot weather. But, as they say, you can't help who you fall in love with and I fell for a midwesterner.
