| Introduction | Sha’ul Hirschmann has been studying and practicing Mahayana Buddhism for well over a decade. He has undertaken extensive studies in Ch’an (Zen) and Vajrayana Buddhism. Having been highly influenced in the Mahayana tradition, he has taken the Five Precepts and Bodhisattva vows and has received tantric empowerments as well as taking the priest vows of CABP. Sha’ul is currently an ordained Buddhist Priest with the Center for American Buddhist Practice (CABP) and is authorized to teach on its behalf. He officiates and oversees the functions at Blue Lotus Dharma Center in Saint Louis MO. |
