About Me
I am a stay at home mother for the most part. Several days a month during the school year I work as a substitute teacher at the parochial school my youngest daughter attends. Hubby is a work-a-holic who works 35 miles away from our house at the family farm. A few times a year he puts in really long days and I feel like a single parent. I am pretty opinionated and can be a bit hostile if the mood strikes me. Hubby says I love to argue just for the sake of arguing. The kids say I am "way overprotective" and need to "let them go." I don't agree with any of them. I love summer heat and I hate the winter chill; yes, I wonder why I live here, too.

Favorite Movies
- I am not much of a movie person. I'd rather read a book. I find it hard to sit still long enough to completely watch a movie
- that's why I'd rather rent one. Then I can stop it whenever I want to and get back to it at a later time.

- I will listen to almost anything for a while
- but I get tired of things easily. One music style I have a hard time tolerating is Rap. But everything else is up for grabs.

- I'll read most anything if I can find the time. Usually I have 3 or 4 books at a time that I am reading along with a stack of magazines that I never catch up on.
