| Introduction | A girl who hits the river trail frequently when the weather’s right, a girl who still eats steak, drinks when she’s happy and is sort of a son of a gun in sundresses. She’s a tangible contradiction. Expensive coffee: Cheap wine. Trendy music: Nerdy Literature. Quiet thoughts: Wild dreams. Cold feet: Warm heart. She doesn’t much believe in waiting or worrying, just living. Her heart requests simple and easy romantic moments that resemble shoulder kisses, thoughtful winks, and a guy that will bait the hook. Her favorite kind of people are the kind that make her smile the most. Throughout some of her research she has found that smiling can get you out of some serious trouble; and that ironically it can get you in some too. She manages to radiate calm in an energetic way. A self-proclaimed preference for chaotic organization she has never felt a rush from crossing items off a ‘to do’ list and never had a five year plan. Each day she becomes a little more aware that she’s too carefree, unconventional and forgiving, and each passing day, she steadily tries to remain that way. She doesn’t need sudden tragedy to illustrate how precious life is, she already knows. ~Shirley |
