Introduction | Variously a consultant, entrepreneur, researcher, musician and artist, I am lately interested in belief, government, ethics and, especially, theories about the biological roots of altruism and trust, and how those ideas are reflected in the modern world. My name is derived from the name of the mathematician, Paul Erdos, who is known for athletic contributions to graph theory. Graph theory is all about connectedness, so I like the notion when tied to blogging. I once thought I had an "Erdos Number" of 5 or 6 (how many coauthors are you away from Paul Erdos; a six-degrees of separation-style game), but I think my number is actually 4. Still, I keep the 56 because I once blogged under Erdos56 and others may want to locate me again someday. The image above is a tiny little view of art rendered from my very own DNA... |
