About Me

I’m a 23-year old lover (indulging in all kinds of love, not only the romantic variety) who is shamelessly ambitious, slightly exhibitionist but also slightly shy, in love with my man, and addicted to “Friends”, cream soda, and a really superb book. I unabashedly enjoy pop music, Perez Hilton and US Weekly, but I like to think I balance it out with an intense interest in anything different than what I’m used to – culture, music, art, dance, language, perspective. I’m actively trying to grow up a little bit at a time, while simultaneously trying to teach myself something new every day to supplement the loss of forced college learning that I have faced these past 9 months. Therefore, some of my current projects include learning to clean up after myself (consistently), learning Italian, writing something (anything!) daily, practicing patience and doing my best to build my career and my future one day at a time. Overall, my life is splendid, really.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

My "people"? I can only assume these are my future children and, therefore, I would want my statue to be made out of anything they could get their little hands on including, but not limited to, popsicle sticks, leaves, pictures, Goldfish crackers, my best blouse, page 47 of the novel I'm writing, flowers, macaroni noodles, and lots of love. And the victory will of course be my children themselves.
