| Introduction | I was a second year masters student at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University when I did this research. During September and October 2011 I conducted field research in Bangui with financial help from the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI)and the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida). The aim of the field study was to collect data for my thesis in which I focus on SSR in post-war societies in general, and on the ongoing SSR process in the CAR in particular. |
