| Introduction | My brilliant, sexy, wonderful wife keeps me going strong. I have been blessed by providence though I have seldom deserved it. I attempt to extend middle-age past sixty. I fight off the on-set of Alzheimer's by pursuing a Master's Degree in English. I am fluent in Bebop. Though all I can do is plunk out a melody with my right hand, and can only remember the simplest left-hand chords from my childhood piano lessons, I can listen and follow the chord changes from the piano and bass, and improvise a duet in my mind with any soloist while listening to old jazz records. |
