| Introduction | I am farm-raised Oklahoma transplant blogging from south Texas. I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 41 years and am Mom to the two best kids on the planet and grandma to the three most beautiful and smart children ever. We detoured to Texas for 25 years then moved back to Oklahoma for 6 years, but are back in Texas and living in a suburb of Houston. My blog has changed direction as I have now retired from catering. Recipes used to be my passion, but I recently started quilting and now spend my days planning my next quilting project. I have a growing stash of fabrics that are sharing space with my yarn stash. I enjoy crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, and crafting. I am lucky to have a sewing room as well as a loft studio where I renew and repurpose thrift store objects as well as some of our tired household items with collage, paints, and finishes. |
