| Introduction | I live in a bungalow from the 50s in Florida's capital. I have a Gen X birth certificate from the 60s. I actually had a pony in the 70s and have bad-hair photos and horrifying diary entries from the 80s. I'm a lesbian mom who had two gorgeous boys in the early 90s.--A, and Salo-- who are big and beautiful and good, good young men now. I have a badass attitude and an immovable grudge now in the 00s despite all of my good luck. When I write, I work on metabolizing the swirling zeitgeist of this odd world. I get obsessed, stuck like a kayaker wedged in some rocks, and usually somehow I spin myself free, only to land on another pile. I really don't know what blogging is. But I religiously believe that cluelessness should never stand in our way, and laughter is the only medicine worth smuggling. Well, laughter and opium. I prefer Golden Retrievers in dogs (mine is named River); Campari or Bombay Sapphire in booze; fierce loyalty in people; dark in chocolate; fire and boldness in every damn thing. |
