About Me

I started in the DB world back in 1999 with Sybase Sql Anywhere 5.5. Like Many DBA’s there was no one else to work on it so I volunteered. We soon migrated that into MS Sql server 7.0 then worked our way up to Sql 2000. I learned a lot about the internals and workings of Sql server 2000 I had moved to a high transaction environment and was learning much more. I then started to work on reporting and DW projects. I started to learn to use DTS and SSIS. Today my primary focus is on DW and SSIS and most of my blogs will be centered around that. I am very Active in my community. The web is probably where I do the least activity I hope to change that with blogging more. I’ve been a SQL MVP for 2 years in 2006 and 2007. I hope to one day join that excellent group of people again.
