| Introduction | Welcome to “Pamela’s Open Window”, a place where we can explore life’s “Closed Doors” as they become God’s “Open Windows” of opportunity. I’ve been wife to my same husband for 50+ years, a mother of three wonderful sons, (one of which is now in heaven), TWO terrific daughters-in-law, and grandma to one amazing grandson. We spent over thirty years in the pastoral ministry, have literally moved over thirty times, and have experienced many closed doors…but God always opened that new window just in time. Now I am a RETIRED church administrator and a “wannabe writer” looking out my new open window. I value your presence here, and would love for our time together to be like old friends chatting over a cup of tea...so pull up a chair and stay awhile...I'll put on the teakettle, and we’ll explore these new adventures together. | Favorite Music | All sacred music, traditional and contemporary, southern gospel, and old songs from the 50's and 60's, of course! |
| Favorite Books | I love old fashioned romance and adventures, especially those written around the turn of the 19th-20th century, Authors George Barr McCutcheon and Mary J. Holmes are two of my favorites, also Louisa May Alcott, (Little Women), Historical fiction, i.e., Civil War Wives, Christian fiction and of course, The Bible. |
