Introduction Who would have known that God would come into my life and change my view of self, view of the world, and most importantly, my view of Him? As I have received from Him, I give to all willing to read.
Interests teaching - especially 'things God'; crafting and sewing; DIY projects around the house; gardening; discovering new ways to prepare meals given my dietary restrictions.
Favorite Movies Rather, latest movies I've seen that impacted me: Left Behind movies, and The Encounter. Also on the list is 'The War Room.' Others include the Martha Williamson classics, 'Touched by an Angel' and 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'.
Favorite Music The hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness" is so moving for me personally - it tells me that regardless of all else that happens, that God will remain faithful to His goal for me and all of His children. My music list is still growing with the work of artists like Trey McLaughlin and SOZ, Elevation / Maverick City and its varied artists; Tauren Wells; and many, many others.
Favorite Books Beside the Bible, lastest read is Relying on the Holy Spirit by pastor Charles Stanley, and its related books Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit, and one on spiritual gifts. The Hiding Place, by Corrie Ten Boom -- a REAL faith builder; This Outside Life, by Laurie Kehler; The Pursuit of Holiness, by Jerry Bridges. Also historic nonfiction to include Roll, Jordan, Roll: The World the Slaves Made, Eugene Genovese; Mistress of Riversdale, edited by Margaret Law Calcott, and several others (including the guide written by myself and Brenda McKelvin - 'Introducing Mr. Charles Duckett.'
