| Introduction | I’m an environmental consultant and have been for over 20 years. I have been privileged to travel and see many places across the United States. My job is to look, observe, sample, interpret, opine, and then write a report. I'm also a geologist, which comes in handy for issues involving soil and groundwater contamination investigation and cleanup. Most of my work originates from commercial real estate transactions, land development, or through mergers and acquisitions. People want to understand what their environmental risk is when buying property, a company, or when financing a deal. That’s why they hire me. I started this blog because I like to write. I like to write about what I see and who I meet along the way. It’s also a good way for my family and friends to be there with me on the lonely road. |
