Introduction	I am happiest when I can make someone laugh or cry...or laugh till they cry. I am mother to my amazing blended family of six, recently transplanted to a California surfer city. I am a fashionista. I am an interior designer. A poet. A pirate. A former homeschooler. A writer. I'm a lover, not a fighter (though don't pick a fight with me because I'll kick your trash.) I live in a crazy house with my Emmy-nominated husband, a ukulele, and a seven foot tall bigfoot. I never go a day without acknowledging God. And I make the best chocolate frosting in the world.
Interests	Spending time with my family and friends, interior design, cooking, poetry--writing and reading, photography, step and spinning classes, long walks, water color painting, vintage British roadsters, American History, Glenn Beck, gardening (being outside!), watching college football, The Office, The People's Court, So You Think You Can Dance, Craig Fergeson's monologue, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, listening to music, and maybe one day taking a long trip around the English countryside to gather ideas for my landscape!
Favorite Movies	Pirates of the Carribean, Galaxy Quest, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, old Alfred Hitchcock stuff (Wait Until Dark is the best!), A Christmas Story, Anne of Green Gables, Napoleon Dynamite, Please Don't Eat the Daisies, Pillowtalk, National Treasure, Bowfinger, Logan's Run, the Bourne series
Favorite Music	Diana Krall, Jane Monheit, Mel Torme', Rosemary Clooney, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble', Vince Guaraldi, Stan Getz, John Pizarelli, Louis Prima, PT Walkley and the Adventures of Track Rabbit, The Blakes, The Ting Tings, The Naughties (local but awesome!), Erasure, The Arrogants, Barenaked Ladies, really everything from The Ramones to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as long as it's not country, and--of course--I love the sweet sound of silence!

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

I think I was expecting a question like: How many ships were in the Spanish armada? Or what steps are involved in the Baconian method? I don't know--usually I try and put a little more water in it, tip my head and rinse it out. What kind of question is this?! :)
