| Introduction | My husband and I have been married since 1980. We have 5 daughters and 8 grandchildren. We are starting a new adventure of simple homesteading. We want the next generation (our grandchildren)of our family to experience what the older generation(our grandparents) did. We currently have 5 dogs, 3 cats, and 6 chickens who will my egg-layers. I am hoping to get some goats for milking in the next couple months, and as we are able would like to have a pig or two for meat. I am researching silkie and serama chicken breeds as I want to get a breeding pair for babies. |
