About Me

I was born in the mid-1960's in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Andover, Massachusetts. My interest in puppetry began when my parents would watch puppetry on television. I really enjoyed Sesame Street, Kula Fran & Ollie, and Captain Kangaroo. My father took me to a puppetry convention when I was 7 or 8 years old, it was there that I met Carrol Spinney (Oscar the Grouch & Big Bird). I now create and build my own puppet characters with the help of my wife, and "test" them in front of our daughter. My style of puppetry is inspired by all of the television, comic books, and cartoons that I watched as a child. My goal as a puppeteer is to create live cartoons using my own scripts, puppets, music, and sound effects. I am a vice-president of the Cincinnati Area Puppetry Guild, as well as a member of Puppeteer of America.
