| Introduction | I grew up in Eastern North Carolina. It's where I call "home" even though I was a transplanted military brat and moved to Portland, OR when I was 16. I have family all over the U.S. so visiting for the holidays is tough (and expensive). Many of my family members, my self and my husband have served in the United Sates Armed Forces. I do not care about politics-Men and Women risk their lives everyday to protect and defend our nation. I believe we at least owe them a "Thank You" for what they do. I believe that your glass is as full as you make it, and that there is always a silver lining. I believe in being responsible for yourself and your actions. Chose your words wisely and have some manners! Being outspoken can easily turn into being rude, uneducated and downright mean. I try to live everyday by the golden rule....treat others as you would want to be treated and I remind my son of this as often as I can. |

| Interests | I love a good red wine! I enjoy looking at other people's photos of the places I visit, because I suck at photography (I just don't have patience). |
| Favorite Movies | I like chick flicks ;) I hate gore, blood and violent death scenes. There is enough of that on the internet and television, I just don't want to watch it for entertainment. I do however, like to watch The Walking Dead with my husband (who believes the zombie apocalypse is near). There are many times where I cover my eyes though and ask him when the scene is over. |
| Favorite Music | Anything upbeat! And sometimes a little country to remind me of how much I love NC! |
