I'm an ex-a-lot-of-things type of bloke, who at some points in his life had been an electrician, a soldier, a sailor, a youth worker, an Aboriginal liaison officer, an office jockey etc - and who has ALWAYS been a proud Aussie, of both Bardi (Aboriginal) and Irish descent. I'm also a newly promoted 'Dad', who works from home - engaged in supporting Indigenous communties in the bush. This makes for an extremely real and interesting life, as Australia has yet to come to terms with it's Indigenous Culture and past. This means I often get caught in that really uncomfortable place - smack bang in the middle of our two 'worlds'. So my head hurts - a lot! Hence this blog.
