Introduction James Duke Mason is an American actor. Born April 27th, 1992 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle and producer Morgan Mason, and grandson of the late British actor James Mason. His first film, “What Happens Next”, was released in 2012, and he will next star in the film "Jack & Lem" which will begin shooting in 2014. He is also an advocate for the LGBT community. Since January 2012 he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of OUTFEST, the youngest person ever to be appointed in the organization’s 30-year history. In 2011 he was selected by Out magazine to be included in their “Out 100″ list, and he also was selected in 2010 as one of The Advocate’s “Forty Under 40″. He has worked on behalf of various political candidates, including for Hillary Clinton in 2008 and as an official campaign surrogate for Barack Obama in 2012. He has written for publications such as The Huffington Post and The Advocate, and been featured on the “E!” channel, as well as on TV programs such as “Nancy Grace”, “Dr. Phil” and "Politicking with Larry King".
