Introduction	When I was 15, I begged my Dad to take me to a country auction. I loved it! I came home with: a beautiful chair (my sister snagged it to use at a craft fair she was doing, and never let go); a double iron and brass bed that I stripped to the metal and refinished, then used for 36 years until my son managed to bend the legs in half when he was 20...(I don't know how, and don't think I want to!); and a huge old steamer trunk (which now houses my fabric). My love of thrifting, redo-ing, and repurposing was born at that auction. Hope you enjoy the pieces I do these days.
