| Introduction | Welcome. I returned to the United States in August 2010 after living and working for three years in Daegu, South Korea. Unexpectedly, I found love there and married a Korean man in January 2010. We had our first baby boy on December 2, 2011. Enjoy reading about my attempt to thwart the consumerist culture of my native country while balancing a new career in a non-profit organization with my first forays into motherhood. I enjoy cooking healthy food, traveling, hiking, swing dancing, teaching (even though it is not my profession at present), reading, taking care of my cats, and (above all) writing whenever I can find a spare moment.
