About Me

I currently head worldwide sales for the strategic sourcing unit at a leading global IT services and consulting company with an India-based origin. My team is responsible for identifying, generating and converting large global sourcing deals that are greater than $50 mn TCV. I have personally been involved in more than 150 such large outsourcing deals in the last few years, with mixed results naturally, but hopefully with some extra grey hairs that justify my indulging in a blog about Sourcing! While my work takes me around the globe, I have lived my professional careers in the US and in India and very comfortable with diverse cultures, entrepreneurial settings, and new learning experiences. I have bounced around a bit across various industries like Technology, Software Products, Wireless, Consumer Products, Financial Services and others.
