Introduction Tulsa Community College math instructor and Executive Director of Blended Love, Sasha Townsend is an active volunteer and passionate advocate for children and families. Sasha has given classroom presentations all over the state discussing the effects of divorce on family life and how to cope positively and resiliently. In addition, Sasha volunteers as a workshop leader and ambassador for the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative, teaching relationship education classes throughout the state and promoting the initiative's programs. Sasha also serves through Kendall Whittier, Inc., a nonprofit serving families just north of 11th street. Sasha is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and Oklahoma State University with Bachelor's degrees in psychology and mathematics, and a master's degree in applied math. In her spare time, Sasha enjoys web design, scrapbooking, singing, and playing board games with her family and friends. Sasha and her husband Bobby reside in Tulsa with their Labradors George and Ronnie. Sasha will compete the Mrs. Oklahoma pageant on April 16-17, 2010 at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple.
