| Introduction | My name is Steve and I’m a freelance animator from New York. But who cares... nobody ever reads these “about me” things anyway, right? In that case I like apples, cold weather, and the occasional punch in the crotch. See I got you’re attention now. I got into animation because I love to tell stories and I also happen to be a bit of a control freak so what better way to go about things than making all the decisions myself. Whether or not it’s appreciated, I do have a reason for everything I do in my work and that is part of the reason I created this production blog. The other reason is that because of the sheer amount of work it takes to make one short animation complete with music, sound effects, and (sometimes) dialogue the time between completed shorts is a fairly large one. This way I get to show pieces of a production to those that are always asking me “so what are you doing now” and it will also serve as a nice visual representation of how close I am to completing whatever project I’m working on at the time. So stay tuned and I’ll do what I can to bring something enjoyable to the table. |
