About Me

I help students in raising their scores by improving their mathematical performance. My tutoring approach focuses on the individual, giving the student my undivided attention and discovering exactly what they need to understand the subject matter and to solve their math problems with speed and accuracy. I help my students in developing their problem-solving skills. I do this by asking questions tailored to their particular style of learning and reasoning. I have been tutoring math in San Diego since November 2004, but I have over 10 years of tutoring experience and over 20 years of teaching experience, both in college and high school. I hold Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees, both in Math, from the School of Science in the Mexican Autonomous National University, the largest university in Latin America. I was born in Mexico City. I am a native Spanish speaker, and a fluent English speaker. I offer Homework Help and standardized Test Prep in Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Elementary Statistics, GMAT, GRE, CBEST, SAT and more. I hope you find my posts in this blog useful. All comments very much appreciated.
