Introduction I am a baby boomer. I'm a daugher, a wife,a mother of two daughters and a son who are grown. My youngest is in in college. I became a grandmother at 45 which was a huge shock to me! I thought I was the mother around here! I loved the child, but was almost bewildered at the idea of being a grandmother. I've come around. Now, I love it! But it still seems strange. I am a true Anglophile! I love most everything British, even the sissy accents, and especially milk and sugar in my hot tea!
Interests textile arts, reading, nutrition, American history, genealogy
Favorite Movies Chocolat-- I really hate to say that I find it hard to sit through a movie--I want to like more of them, but --Like I hated Moulon Rouge AND Chicago - I thought I was supposed to love them! Simon Burch is a profound movie!
Favorite Music Lots of different music- from classical to Jack Johnson--Yes, I love him--my daughter has exposed me to some of the younger music I really like. I also like Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley. I also love Pachebel's Canon.
Favorite Books Anything my James Herriot--he's my all time favorite--I also love Ferrol Sams - he writes about the South as only someone who grew up there could. Run With the Horseman by Ferrol Sams! The Gothic novel, Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier, and the charming novels, Hens Dancing & Summertime by Rafaella Barker. I love her edgy British humor. For deep subjects, anything by Philip Yancey.
