Interests Mr. Veerji Kolhi is young, energetic social human right activist belongs from Nangarparkar District Mithi, one of the most backward desert areas of Pakistan. His family migrated from Tharparkar to Mirpurkhas District to earn basic essential and pass hard days of drought in the year 1986 due to severe drought conditions. Whereas, in Mirpurkhas District, he with his family captured in slavery (bonded labour) for four years at the land of an influential wadeera (Landlord). And freed from slavery by the help of HRCP (Human Right Commission of Pakistan) in 1990. After freed from slavery ……..that fights for the rights and freed bonded labour is the mission of his life. So started his social activities during his college life and struggled on different issues like Bonded Labour, Democracy, and women rights issue in Sindh. He facilitated thousands of families for their release from bondage of landlords through courts of the law while he was only student. Due to above activities, many influential wadeera and moneylenders became enemies of Veerji Kolhi, so to revenge from him lodge fake FIRs (he was sent to jail in fake case twice) and attacked at his home, threats to kidnap his school going children. He laid foundation of Kolhi Panchayat at Nangarparkar and solved several community based problems.
