About Me
Born in the Chicago area, moved to California in my teens. Started selling my writing when I was 17. Worked on the bestselling educational computer game First Men in the Moon Math (Fisher-Price). I attended the Clarion Workshop at MSU. Freelanced a lot, including writing for KMT: A Modern Journal of Ancient Egypt. My novella "Daddy's Girl" (in Adventures in the Twilight Zone, Ed. Carol Serling, DAW Books, Inc.) received recommendations for the Bram Stoker Award. I ran an editorial service for years, and am happy now to miss a comma here and there. Eventually got involved in online community management, including working for a partner of AOL (Writers Club/iUniverse), and later in-house at There. These days I run The Magicians, a company that develops Second Life content for clients. These include UC Davis Medical Center, Global Kids, Languagelab.com, The British Council, etc. I moved recently to Tennessee, which has more interesting weather and more trees than Silicon Valley.
