Occupation inventor, tinkerer & founder of oddWires.com
Location Danville, CA, United States
Introduction oddWire is someone who has spent time in software, hardware and electronics both professionally and personally. He is the founder of www.oddWires.com. oddWires is focused on the broad intersection of technologies that include Open Source Hardware, Arduino and embedded micro-controller development, and electronics as a whole. In particular re-invention is a mantra. Frankly, most of what we use today has a yesterday feel about it. If you haven't already taken a look at it, look at Nest, the new home thermostat that sells for more than its target retail price. It's a thermostat you never actively set - it works out how you want to heat or cool your home. Think how that principle could be applied to the devices you use and you'll come up with a long list.
