About Me

I began running in the summer of 2006 to fulfill a goal of completing the Chicago marathon, even though I wouldn't have considered myself a runner at the time. I just like to achieve goals, and prove to myself that it really is mind over matter. Now, to hold myself accountable to my goals, I'm writing about my progress, in hopes that I will enjoy the journey as I reflect and write about it. I am also a cult fan of the television show, Alias, and all things Jennifer Garner related.
