| Introduction | Sometimes I feel like a ghost like a faded memory of times gone past. What is life but the other side of death? One thing life has never been is stagnant yet always I pass through it like a whisper in the night. How many lives I have touched that touch my own and yet for a brief moment there is breath that we share or a song that sings words into our souls. Shrouded by times these moments pass into yesteryear as fleeting as the wind upon my skin. People move into my world. They may notice me briefly as the spooky and strange creature in the corner. They may even spend time in an attempt to unravel the mystery of my existence. A ghost grows cold from the grave and like a ghost I chill their souls. I am warmed for a time but all too soon the moment is fleeting. Their breath grows cold. Their touch once warm now turns to ice. They pass out of my world. I wait again. I am a ghost in a darkened room. |
