Tom Tallitsch

About Me

Tom resides in the greater Philadelphia/Central New Jersey area. As a Saxophonist he works as a leader and sideman in Philadelphia, New York, and the Northeast. Tom's primary instrument is Tenor Saxophone. His Doubles include Soprano, Alto, Clarinet, Flute, and Piano. His critically acclaimed albums include 'Medicine Man', (2/08 Origin/OA2 Records), and self release Duality (11/05). His third album will be released in mid-late 2009 on OA2 Records. Tom has his own jazz radio show which airs on Mercer County, NJ jazz radio station WWFM 89.1 HD2. He owns a highly recommended music tutoring business near Princeton, NJ and is a popular jazz educator and clinician. He works as a piano tutor to adult students with autism, and has taught at Mercer County College, The Westminster Conservatory, The Philadelphia Clef Club, and was the founding director of the Central NJ Homeschool Bands. Tom is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and has a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.
