| Introduction | I'm Nate. I'd like you to read my words. I love to write, and I'd love to make a career out of it. I'll write for anybody. Right now, I contribute to my city's public broadcasting station, KPBS, via the Cinema Junkie blog. The blog is maintained and edited by KPBS Arts Reporter, film freak, and friend, Beth Accomando. When I stopped working for KPBS as a student assistant in Spring of my graduating year (2012), Beth told me to come back and write for her. So I did. And I love it. Some of my favorites include: Shawshank Redemption (I've watched this film more than any other -- learned to love it around age 13), Ip Man (easily one of the most kick-ass kung fu movies ever), Gladiator, Life Is Beautiful, Doubt, Secret Window (first film I ever saw with a twist, so obviously I can't stop loving it) |
| Favorite Music | Frank Sinatra, Muse, Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Ratatat, Bob Marley, Michael Kiwanuka, I also listen to a lot of stand up comedy (Louis C.K., Brian Regan and such), Skrillex as well, too, also, on occasion. |
