Introduction	I'm a YA writer, 8th grade English teacher, an obsessive reader (and blogger), Twitter-er, and mutt mom.
Interests	Running (see, I'm placing this in prime position to remind myself of my dedication!); reading-anything I can get my hands on and especially fantasy, middle school-level books, chick lit (as long as it's funny & not sappy-hate that crap), biographies, health & exercise; and a ton of magazines; writing; watching TV; and traveling
Favorite Music	I adore Jack Johnson, John Mayer, John Legend, Bon Jovi, Sugarland, Sister Hazel, Sarah McLaughlan, Blink 182, alternative music, rock, pop, soul, dance...um, I'm very eclectic in my tastes. However, I do not listen to cursing, women-degrading, I'm-talking-with-music-behind-me-so-I-must-be-singing type music.
Favorite Books	There are too many to mention. Really. I read just about everything except for those depressing, Oprah's book club, bad country-western song stories. Those, I can live without.
