| Introduction | Following my graduation from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, I worked for two years in financial services consulting in New York City. I worked primarily on portfolio risk management and quantitative analytics for bulge bracket banks, and also on project finance strategy for a Fortune 100 industrial chemical company. I am currently preparing to enter the U.S. Foreign Service later this year as an Economic Officer. In the mean time, I am also working on a start-up education consulting business based in Shenzhen, China, where I currently reside. I have spent extensive time in Russia, Georgia and other parts of the Former Soviet Union both for work and for pleasure, as well as in Europe and western Africa. I speak Russian and French fluently, and am currently trying, in vain, to learn Mandarin. |
