Introduction Joy Kauffman is passionate about health, hunger and healing in the global body of Jesus Christ and the world. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Public Health and from Virginia Tech with a BS in International Nutrition. She is also a graduate of the National Soy Research Laboratory International Soy program and a Master Gardener through University of Illinois. She developed From the Ground Up though a 3-county, local health department effort as a Public Health Educator and has worked for the federal Department of Health and Human Services in Washington DC. She is the Board President of Crossroads High School and on the Board of the Foods Resource Bank, a Christian response to world hunger supporting small holder agriculture around the world.
