About Me
Clothesline Show at the Sessions House A collective of some of Chattanooga’s most intriguing women artists. We meet together at the Sessions House 113 Ochs Highway at the foot of Lookout Mountain for our bi-annual art show. The event will showcase a variety of different mediums and styles to fit an assortment of tastes. The art enthusiast will have the opportunity to enjoy everything from abstract expressions to photography, figurative painting and printmaking, ceramics, fine craft and illustration-style images.

This permits artists to sell their works at affordable prices and the buyers to frame the artwork in any manner they prefer. The Clothesline Show artists also find the parallel of a clothesline’s domestic purpose intriguing as many of them are wives

- is delighted to share her art as well as her home. She wants to provide a venue for viewing and selling the art of a wonderful variety of woman artists in our community other than a gallery setting. This is the second show for this group. The spring Clothesline Show was well attended and full of variety of art and art patrons

- Thank you so much! We are also terribly exicted about the Our Clothesline! Our May 2007 show was incredible and our September show was an even better success! Our September artshow was our second Clothesline event and we have learned a whole lot and have began defining our Purpose and Standards. Our Clothesline is a grassroots effort that at it's foundation began 15 years ago. The Clothesline is a unique group of women of all ages
- all walks of life and art. We do love the challenge of creating new work for each new show and we love your interest. Unfortunately at this time the group is closed to newcomers. We are excited about the high level of interest but Artist Participation is by invite only at this time. At the core of our group is our Christian values and that is something we strive to refine and uphold. We will be inviting 15 Artists for our May 2008 event
- three of which will be Fine Craft Artists. We understand that our event walks the line between a fine art event and a craftshow/festival atmosphere. We would love to expand our horizons but feel it neccessary to walk slowly through this process
- for the integrity of Our Clothesline. We will not be accepting Jewlery or Accessory Artists
- American Folk Artists
