| Introduction | I try to "capture" moments, in words,or with pictures. I am a published author, and amateur free lance photographer. Crafting is my therapy, sometimes my sanity. I feel best as a person when I am creating things with my hands. I am an avid crocheter, also make stained glass stepping stones, and other glass and cement creations. I make yard art out of recycled glassware. I sew recycled jeans into purses. I love gardening. I have been a nurse for 43 years, and studied herbology, so have learned how to make lotions and potions , medicinal rice packs, tonics and elixers. I make quality homemade wine, which got second in a state fair once. I am a mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. I have a supportive, loving husband, and 2 loyal dogs, a dalmation, and an American Eskimo. I live on the southern Oregon coast, where I grew up, but just came back home to in August, 2011. |
