| Introduction | Born in a remote village in Arizona. As a youth I was surrounded by paintings that my grandfather, Gilbert James,had painted. I remember sitting as a child examining books on how to draw and paint and the technique on how to draw the perfect figure or tree, and my mother coaching me along the way. Landscapes and figure drawing were never something I mastered. But,I am grateful for those memories. I really started falling in love with art when I was about 17, when I went to the Modern art Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona. I saw Andy Warhol's Flowers 1970. It was @ that moment I felt a connection with art. I have bounced from coast to coast exploring the culinary arts and I now reside in Seattle, Washington. I want to welcome you to my imagination. I get much of my inspiration from design or simple life experience. I love architecture, great photography, textiles, & film. I realize that though something may not be my taste or style, that there is great talent and thought put into it. I may not hang a Thomas Kinkade on my wall, but I marvel at his abilities.
