If someone had told me when I left Oxford university that I'd spend most of the next 20 odd years working in food retailing & for one company, I wouldn't have believed them (as it was my mother thought i was mad!). But I was lucky enough to join a company, Tesco plc, that simply believed that you should just listen to what people want & then deliver it better than anyone else - & anyway, for someone who wants to make a difference, everybody has an interest in food...
Favorite Music
- My favorite album last year was Thom Yorke's The Eraser (he's a genius in my book)
- though when it comes to individual tracks
- the Red Hot Chilli Pepper's Dani California just blew me away - how do those boys keep cranking it out!
