About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by our blog. I'm Parker and I'm the youth minister at Oak Grove Baptist Church. I've been in that position for a little more than a year. I have been married to my beautiful wife for three years now and have an equally beautiful daughter that is now 9 months old (me as a dad, scary). My wife and I are also both teachers, she teaches kindergarten and I teach Jr. High Science. We always have plenty to do! But I love my job and our ministries. My heart has always been for teenagers, that's why I tend to spend a lot of my time with them (that and conversations are usually better).
