| Introduction | I grew up in San Francisco, and I guess my love of animals was stymied by my city life. Although I was always rescuing birds, stray dogs and anything else. I would hang out at the polo fields when I was 12 just to be near the horses. The owners began to recognize me and "allowed" me to cool the horses between chukkers. I thought I died and went to heaven! I spent my adult working life in corporate life-yes suits etc. I raised 2 beautiful children, who are great responsible adults. I'm very proud of them. And today-I'm semi-retired and I live in the country. |
