| Introduction | Laissez Faire Books was founded in 1972 as a libertarian bookstore in New York City. Today it remains as a bookdealer who specializes in books on liberty or of interest to libertarians. With it's publishing arm, Cobden Press, it also publishes new libertarian works, fiction and nonfiction, as well as republishes classics on liberty.
