About Me

My name is Francois Gendron. I am a french canadian living in Montreal since 2000. I am originally from a small town named Cap-de-la-Madeleine. I started playing hockey at the age of 5 and loved it since day one. After playing one game, I was curious about the goalie equipment and asked my coach if I could try it. In my first game as a goaltender I stopped everything coming my way and ended up winning the game 1-0. Now at the age of 34 I am considering about coming back to the game I love as a pro. I could be coaching in a few years, it is an option I will keep open. Will it happen? Only time will tell...
